Student Life is an essential part of our college community. We provide comprehensive support and services to students by creating a vibrant, diverse and inclusive campus culture that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
Get ready to kickstart your Brighton College journey with an exciting and informative student orientation experience!
At Brighton College, we understand the importance of setting the stage for your academic success, which is why we hope you can attend and meet our team! Our student orientation is designed to equip you with all the essential information and resources you need to hit the ground running.
But it's not just about exploring our general information and departments; our orientation is a warm welcome into the vibrant community that awaits you. You'll have the opportunity to connect with dedicated and passionate staff members who are committed to supporting your growth and success throughout your time at Brighton College.
We understand that transitioning into a new educational environment can be both exciting and daunting, which is why our orientation takes place one week before classes commence. You'll gain insider knowledge, learn about valuable resources and support services, and be equipped with the tools you need to navigate your academic path with confidence.
So, whether you're a first-time college student or transferring from another institution, our orientation program is designed to ensure that you start your journey at Brighton College on the right note. Your journey starts here!
The college hosts several workshops per year on the topics of academic success and career readiness.
Students can take advantage of free office hours with their instructor or paid peer tutoring, for academic success. Receive tutoring from Brighton College students or provide tutoring for your collegiates.
Note: A fee for the service may apply. For more information, please contact Student Services at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us: 604-416-0387.
The student advocacy team assists students encountering a barrier to their studies by reviewing exceptional circumstances at the level of the individual – this may arise in terms of appeals, accommodations, accessibility, complaints, and various other student interactions across departments within the College.
The college organizes a convocation and awards ceremony that takes place every autumn in Vancouver BC. Students on the Dean's List and the Honour Roll receive their special recognition. Have a look at last year's ceremony on our YouTube page!
