Brighton College is looking for a Certified Energy Advisor (CEA) designation to join our engineering technology faculty. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to take part in curriculum development as well as teach the following course(s) within our Green Architecture and Sustainable Design program and will be prioritized for future teaching opportunities.

Available courses:
  1. Building Energy Performance
  2. EnerGuide Energy Advisor Exam Preparation
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field and at least at least 4 years of industry experience
  • Certified Energy Advisor (CEA) designation
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Brighton College is looking for a project management expert in construction to join our engineering technology faculty. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to take part in curriculum development as well as teaching opportunities within our Construction Project Management program, and will be prioritized for future teaching opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field and at least 5 years of industry experience
  • PMP certification with construction focus/experience
  • Expert in building construction, project planning, control and scheduling
  • Proficient with MS Project
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian construction laws and contracts
  • Familiarity with site management

Brighton College is looking for a Gold Seal certified construction professional to join our engineering technology faculty. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to take part in curriculum development as well as teaching opportunities within our Construction Operations and Supervision program, and will be prioritized for future teaching opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field and at least 5 years of construction management experience
  • Gold Seal certification
  • Expert in building construction (high-rise, mid-rise, low-rise)
  • Experience in construction supervision, site operations, as well as management of labour, construction material and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian construction laws and contracts, as well as health and safety regulations
  • Familiarity with project scheduling
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
