Library Agreement

We have an agreement with our sister school Alexander College for Brighton College students to use their library resources. They are located down the street at 4805 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC.

Guides and Database link from the Alexander web site

To access databases, students must select a database link (eg. “Academic Search Complete”) and enter the following user information: 

  • Username: [student number] eg. "FBxxxx" or "BCxxxxx"
  • Password: [family name] eg. “smith”

Note that family name information is case sensitive and must not contain any capitalization. Students with family names containing multiple words must enter a single space between words.

Writing and Learning Center

We provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to current Brighton College students for all courses offered at the college. Our goal is to help students develop their core academic skills to be able to apply them across all disciplines. We help students get better grades by helping them to build their skills in math,  academic writing, accounting and more!

Use Software Skills to learn computer basics such as file management, Zoom video conferencing and the Microsoft Office Suite. These are self-paced, not for credit, reference tools.
