FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Burnaby, B.C. – Brighton College, a technology-based vocational college, has launched a free educational program to help Canadians make the best of their time during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The program is part of Brighton College’s initiative to help boost moral throughout communities across Canada by providing access to free education during self-isolation.

The new AutoCAD Free Course Bundle Program offers students an introduction to essential foundational skills in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, Revit Architecture, Inventor and Building Design with Building Code. “By offering this free program, we can help Canadians re-define their careers, re-establish their career paths, and discover a passion they may have never known they had.” Said Edward Cheung, Brighton College’s Building Education and Technology (BET) Program Director, in a recent interview. “Anyone can learn high level technologies and software while staying at home during these times, and we want to help people do that.”

As part of the program, Brighton College is also supplying licensing for the software for the duration of the free two-week bundle program and the two weeks of AutoCAD Fundamentals, to ensure there are no financial barriers preventing Canadians from enrolling.
