As we’ve been mentioning for the last few weeks, Brighton College has a brand new campus that just opened in Surrey’s Central City Mall! Extensive renovations and a ton of hard work by everyone involved has resulted in a beautiful new campus for our students to enjoy.
When you first step off the Skytrain platform at Surrey Central and begin to walk towards Central City Mall you will notice a beautiful building that features state of the art architectural design. This is the Central City Office Tower which is a busy business hub. Below the office tower closer to ground level is where Brighton College is located, just above the Central City Brewing Co.
Walking across the pavilion beyond the recreation center parking lot you can see the expansive area that Brighton College now occupies. You enter the large glass doors at the center of the pavilion and take a left, wander up the stairs, past the immigration office, and that is where you will find the always open, always welcoming doors to Brighton College.
The newly renovated lobby features a rotunda where students can interact with the school’s administrative and educational staff freely or by appointment. As you head beyond the rotunda you will find a hallway that leads you to the various classrooms and lab rooms that Surrey Campus has to offer its students.
The most attractive room is the new Healthcare lab. Featuring two walls with floor to ceiling windows with views north towards the mountains and west, overlooking the pavilion and entrance to the mall. Almost every classroom has floor to ceiling windows present, making each classroom a bright, cheerful place in which to study.
Aside from the campus itself, the mall and surrounding businesses offer students convenient places to study, caffeinate, exercise and shop for everything they need. Brighton College’s Surrey Campus has everything a busy student could ever need all within walking distance.
