Student Orientation

Kickstart your Brighton College journey with our engaging orientation program! This session is designed to provide essential information, introduce key resources, and connect you with our dedicated team.

When: The week before classes begin, typically Wednesday at 2:30 PM. Our Student Services team will confirm your attendance details.

Can’t attend live? No problem! Every orientation is recorded and accessible on this page by logging into your Brighton Canvas LMS account.

International Students

In addition to the general orientation, international students are invited to attend a tailored session held once per month, usually the first Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM. The dates for international orientation sessions in 2026 are as follows:

The college hosts several workshops per year on the topics of academic success and career readiness.

Tutoring

Students can take advantage of free office hours with their instructor or paid peer tutoring, for academic success. Receive tutoring from Brighton College students or provide tutoring for your collegiates.

Student Advocacy

The student advocacy team assists students encountering a barrier to their studies by reviewing exceptional circumstances at the level of the individual – this may arise in terms of appeals, accommodations, accessibility, complaints, and various other student interactions across departments within the College.​

Graduation Ceremony

The college organizes a convocation and awards ceremony that takes place every autumn in Vancouver BC. Students on the Dean's List and the Honour Roll receive their special recognition. Have a look at last year's ceremony on our YouTube page!
