The weekend is over and we’re back in our work routine, but let’s take some time to remember the successful First Annual Community Appreciation BBQ and the fun we all had at this event. Brighton College organized this event in order to be able to thank all our community members for their support over the years and to give something back to the Surrey community.
All proceeds from food sales along with a special donation from the college went to the Surrey Foodbank. We raised and donated over $2,700! Thank you, everyone, for your help and participation. We would also like to thank the Surrey’s Acting Mayor, Linda Hepner for coming and speaking at our event.

The newly established Brighton College Student Association made its debut at this event with the inaugural members offering face painting for children, and we also launched our official Brighton College Instagram account.
