Canada Day at Canada Place
Head down to Canada Place just off of Waterfront Skytrain station for a massive celebration with free concerts and fireworks. It’s an open event for all ages so check it out.
Vancouver FIFA Fan Zone
If you’re a soccer fan then Vancouver’s FIFA Fan Zone is the place for you. Located just near Stadium Skytrain station, the FIFA Fan Zone hosts live soccer broadcasts, demos and meet & greets for some of the athletes.
Burnaby Village Museum
The Burnaby Village Museum is also hosting a Canada celebration with games, live entertainment, a carousel, and cake. The event is free for all ages and runs from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm located on Canada Way.
Vancouver International Jazz Festival
This Wednesday also marks the final day of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival with a full day music starting from noon to 9:30 pm. This all-ages event includes 4 free stages featuring internationally renowned jazz musicians.
7th Annual Canada Day Parade
For those with families, you can also visit the 7th Annual Canada Day Parade presented by the Port of Metro Vancouver. The parade starts at 7:00 pm and runs through Broughton and West Georgia. Make sure you arrive early to get a good viewing spot.
