CPSC120 - Introduction to Computer Science and Programming

Learn the fundamental concepts of computing science and develop elementary skills for programming in a high-level programming language. Topics covered in this course are pseudocode, flowcharts, algorithms, data types and control structures, fundamental algorithms, recursion, reading and writing files, and debugging tools.

Term runs from Monday, January 8, 2024 – Wednesday, April 17. 2024. [Classes will be held in-person only at our Metropointe Campus.] No class on February 19th and April 1st. Exams are on April 16th (for T & Th classes) or 17th (for M & W classes) in the evening.

Admission Requirements

This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, PTIB did not review this program.
