International Trade Instructor (Blended Program: In-Class and Online)

We are looking for passionate international trade industry professionals to join us as an instructor for our brand new International Trade and Freight Forwarding Blended program.This is an exciting opportunity which provides flexible work hours as the Blended program involves both online and in-class instruction. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach part-time on an auxiliary basis (dependent on course availability), and will be prioritized for future teaching opportunities.

Administration and Staff

International Marketing Assistant

The role of the Marketing Assistant is to assist in positioning the College’s image at forefront in the education market and assist in increasing enrollment through marketing strategies. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the organization.

The International Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing and Admission Manager in areas such as; inputting student data, advising prospective students with respect to Brighton College programs, and admission and registration procedures. Attend and participate at events to promote brand awareness.

  • Reviewing of school documents such as Student and Faculty Handbooks and other written material

  • Correspond with relevant organizations and institutions on behalf of the Dean of Academics and Brighton College;
  • Take meeting minutes as needed;
  • Schedule appointments and meetings on behalf of the Dean of Academics;
  • Prepare, edit and/or proofread Brighton College promotional materials related to academic programs;
  • Take messages and gate keep for the Dean of Academics as required.
Academic & Online Learning Coordination

Provide general assistance as needed to the Dean of Academics, including but not limited to:

  • Review and propose course delivery related changes to course outlines and curriculum guides for all courses;
  • Provide faculty with insight on curriculum items that are missing, or that require adjustment to ensure student success;
  • Correspond with faculty and staff regarding scheduling and availability for upcoming courses to ensure courses are covered;
  • Assist in the administrative process of transitioning F2F courses to blended delivery;
  • Assist in the preparation of course manuals for related courses;
  • Work directly with Canvas, our chosen Learning Management System;
  • Other duties as required by the Dean of Academics.
