Brighton College has partnered with CPA (The Canadian Payroll Association) to deliver the PCP certification (Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification) courses from the Canadian Payroll Association. The structure of the certification consists of three courses. Once the students pass these three exams and Introduction of Accounting course, with the credit transfer fee paid to the CPA, the student becomes eligible for CPA/PCP certification. The student must pay the membership fee when the student applies the certification. Effective January 1, 2015, individuals who wish to obtain the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification must have at least one (1) year of weighted payroll experience obtained within five (5) years before or five (5) years after the start of the Payroll Compliance Legislation course.
